Improper camshaft timing can result in poor engine performance, acceleration hesitations and in the extreme, vibrations leading to destruction of the torque tube on automatics. The valve timing should be checked and adjusted when doing timing belt changes. The PK32vR sets the two cylinder banks independently, avoiding the factory manual’s time consuming procedure that requires special tooling.
